Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Festival Foothills Elementary. Our volunteers help make our school great and are a huge benefit to our students and staff. Please use this page to learn more about the requirements and process of becoming a volunteer.

How do I become a volunteer?

  1. Complete and turn in the volunteer application. You can download an application or pick one up at the front office of the school.
  2. Once you have turned in your application into the school office, we send it to the district office for approval. This usually takes a couple of weeks.
  3. Once the district approves your application, we will contact you to go through a brief training and fingerprinting. The training and fingerprinting takes place at Festival Foothills Elementary, and we can usually pick a time at your convenience.
  4. Our volunteer coordinator will work with volunteers and staff to match up volunteer interests with school needs.

If I agree to volunteer for a particular day of the week and time of day is there an issue if I am away?

No, but you need to communicate your availability issues. We know that you may be a part time resident and that you may be away for any number of reasons. We just need to know when you will be helping us.
